Road Tripping: The Ultimate Adventure

There is something undeniably exhilarating about hitting the open road, windows down, music or conversation filling the air and the promise of adventure on the horizon. I love Road tripping!

Road tripping has long been a beloved pastime for many, for some generations it was the only travel options for a family vacation with a promise of adventure on the horizon. It's also a unique way to explore new places, create lasting memories and connect with both nature and fellow travelers.

Whether traveling with a spouse, friends, family or solo road tripping is an experience like no other.

One of the greatest advantages of road tripping is the freedom that it provides. Other forms of travel are bound by schedules and itineraries eliminating the opportunity to take advantage of going off the route or beaten path. There is something special and magical to have a sense of spontaneity and the ability to go wherever the road takes you.

There's another aspect that makes road tripping appealing is the opportunity to explore nature from scenic drives along a coastal highway to driving switchbacks through majestic mountains, breathtaking views while having a chance to reconnect with the beauty of nature and landscapes.

Hiking, camping, ocean swim, boating on a lake or simply stopping to have a picnic at a rest area or national park, road tripping allows you to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and find peace and solace in the great outdoors.

There is an element of excitement and unpredictability to the adventure making each road trip unique and unforgettable experience!

Tips:

  • Look for the historic signs on the road, get off the exit and explore.

  • Switch off drivers, if solo, take advantage of rest areas- stretch those legs

  • End the day at dusk, eat at a local restaurant, journal your day and get a good night sleep

  • Water- make sure to always have a cooler - remember you're road tripping so you can bring a cooler and snacks!

  • Route 66 signs- jump on and check out the route, never know what you might see.

  • I like to fill up my tank at 1/2 full never want to miss a side trip because I need to fuel up.

Pack your bags, buckle up and get ready to embark on a journey of a lifetime. The possibilites are endless! Most importantly "Have Fun", "Make Memories"

Find Joy in the Journey!
